LeadershipDo you understand how your leadership style affects others and their work environment and are you happy with the results you are getting?I'm not aware of my leadership style and how it affects others and their work. I don't know how to create a better work environmentI am frustrated with how I affect people sometimes and wish I could do better.I think I am doing OK, but with so many changes lately I'm not sure anymore.I constantly work on improving my leadership style and am happy with the results. VisionDo you have a new vision and a plan for success for your organization based and in response to recent events?I'm not sure how to create a concrete vision for my team or track our goals, especially with all this uncertainty. Our vision is not clearly laid out so not sure how our success relates back to that.We had a good plan with defined goals, but I am not always tracking them and it may need a revamp for current conditions.Yes I am confident I know where I and my org are heading and am happy with our success. BalanceAre you overwhelmed by multiple priorities, stress & balancing time between work & relationships?I'm really struggling with this, I hardly see my family/friends as I am under a lot of pressure and don't have enough time for everything anymore..I probably work too hard and am overwhelmed often, but don’t see any other way with all this uncertainty around us.I work hard, but enjoy it. I just wish I had more time for family & friends.I do work that I love, when I choose, on my terms. Career PlanningDo you have a clear plan for your career that you work on regularly?I've never created a career plan and not sure how to do that.I had an idea of where I wanted to go with my career but all that has changed now.I enjoy my job but recent events have made me unsure of what the next move might be. I'm in the career that I love and know my next steps. PromotabilityAre you getting the promotions you want or are you stuck in your existing role?I've been in my role for too long and don't know how to change that or where to go from here.I've always felt that if I keep my head down and do good work that I'll be noticed. But the promotions are not happening.I'm doing OK, but could use some help getting my next promotion.I'm very happy in my existing role and my upward mobility. NavigatingHow well do you navigate the corporate environment, including having mentors and sponsors-especially if you haven't been to the office for a long time?Do not know how to do this at all and don't know a mentor from a sponsor.I would love to know how to get a good mentor or sponsor, speak the right business language or navigate the culture.I think I do pretty well with this, but could use some more tips.I have a great support network and navigate the corporate hierarchy well. PayAre you being paid fairly for the work you do and is there equity in your org?I don't know what my peers are being paid or how our compensation really works/how to ask for a raiseI think I am being paid fairly but have never asked. I wouldn't know how to ask for more.I am happy with my compensation but could use tips on negotiating more.I know how I am paid vs others and am comfortable with that. Employee EngagementAre you aware of your employee's or team member's personality styles and do you communicate with them in the way that works for them to keep them engaged, especially when you're not face to face?I don't know anything about different personality styles and I find it hard to keep people engaged, especially on zoomI'm often frustrated when my personality style doesn't work that well with my team.I know my employees or team pretty well but could always use some fine tuning with our communication styles, especially in the virtual world.I always communicate with my employees or team in the way that works for them and they are very engaged. Team ValuesDoes your team know how their work connects to the overall values of the company and is their motivation high?I don't know how my work and values connect to the company and how our work matters.I have a hard time keeping my employees or team members motivated.I try to find different ways to motivate my employees or team members but get off track on occasion, especially lately.I draw a clear connection between the company's values and the work that we do and keep my employees/team members motivated with that meaning. Employee SuccessHow well do you coach and develop your employees/team members especially in our new virtual world?I'm really struggling with how to coach and develop my team/team members or even if I should.I try to coach my team members but can't get to it consistently so development gets stalled. I don't know what they need right now.I'm doing OK, but could improve somewhat, especially after all we've been through.I'm very successful at coaching and developing my employees on a consistent basis, even in this new environment.
